What Timeleft does well
Credit where due: Timeleft solved the activation-energy problem of meeting strangers. No bios, no swiping, no planning. You book, you show up. The scale means tables fill reliably, and if your goal is simply more people in your life, it delivers, especially if you have just moved to a city.
The trade-off of scale is randomness. A Timeleft table might give you a nurse, a grad student, an accountant and a retiree. That is a lovely dinner, and if you spent the week wrestling with churn or a co-founder dispute, nobody at that table has context for your life.
What a vetted table changes
Founder Feast tables are smaller bets with higher floors. Because every seat is vetted and matched, the conversation defaults to the things founders cannot say on LinkedIn: the round that is stalling, the hire that is not working, whether to flip to Delaware. The people who are not founders are there on purpose too. An investor, a surgeon or a professor at the table keeps a founder-only room from talking about fundraising all night, and they were vetted the same way.

There is no per-seat charge and no charge for the weeks you skip, and you pay the restaurant for what you eat and drink on the night. Can you do both?
Yes, and some of our members do. Timeleft on a Wednesday for fun, Founder Feast on a Thursday for the business. They are different tools. The mistake is expecting one to do the other's job: do not go to Timeleft to find a co-founder, and do not come to Founder Feast expecting a random social mixer.
